This Happened in Loxahatchee Florida This is How Children Go Missing

LOXAHATCHEE, Fla. — Palm Beach County sheriff’s deputies are warning parents and students to stay vigilant after two incidents involving suspicious persons approaching children near Osceola Creek Middle School.

Osceola Creek Middle School Principal David Alfonso said the school is taking precautions to make sure all children are safe.

In the last week or two, authorities said there have been several culprits in two different vehicles who have tried to stop and speak with middle school children.

The first is an older-model, white four-door vehicle that has dents and scratches on the front fenders. It was occupied by three to four men who tried to pick up a girl.

Deputies said the second suspicious vehicle is a white four-door vehicle with tinted windows.

In both of these cases, the children did not approach the vehicle and walked away.

David Alfonso, principal at Osceola Creek Middle School, said the school is taking the proper precautions.

“As soon as we found that out, we sent e-mails to our parents, went on the public address system, we told everybody to just be safe, you know, talk about how we get home and how to stay in groups,” Alfonso said.Copyright 2009 by WPBF.com.
